A Fun Activity: Survey the yard sales that are listed for the day and plan your route. Our map shows the location and you can use that in conjunction with a local map in your car. It is interesting visiting areas that you have never been to before. How about some great houses with beautiful landscaping and or views? It is a very enjoyable way to spend part of your day, not to mention if you manage to come home with some interesting purchases (with stories to go along). You might want to pick one sale that looks really good and plan on arriving 1/2 hour early. Sometimes all the good items are sold already by the time the sale is supposed to start :-( Choosing Items: Don't just buy items for the sake of buying. And no, you will not always sell it on e-bay if you decide you don't want it. Trust me, that day will never come. But don't pass up quality items because they are broken. With a little repair or restyling, many items will shine. |
